Our Olive Oil Product in Tuscany.
For years we have been producing Extra Virgin Olive Oil of the blended variety, which means by using a combination of different olive types, all of which grow in our hundred year old olive groves. Specifically, the following varieties are included:
LECCIO – LECCINO – MORAIOLO – FRANTOIO – PENDOLINO – ARANCINO – LARCIANESE, with the last mentioned being a typical local variety.
This Extra Virgin Olive Oil contains all the perfumes of our tuscany.
The composition characteristics can be summarised as follows:
Cultivar Blend
It has a harmonic and fruity flavour, rich in plant notions, and with a perfume of artichokes and almonds.
Ideal for consumption on toasted bread, with vegetable soup, on pearl barley, with oven-baked Fisch.
As the popularity of finer flavours has increased in recent years, we have decided to produce an additional pure, single variety Extra Virgin Oil (“MONOCULTIVAR”) and as such have created some flavours with unique structure and body.
The characteristics of single variety oils are defined below:
Monocultivar Frantoio
Its taste is intensive and yet delicate, rich in plant notions such as freshly cut grass.
Exellent for consumption with salads, oven-baked fish, with vegetables, boiled meat and all white meats.
Monocultivar Moraiolo
Its taste is very delicate and yet strong, rich in fruity notions and spicy, with a pungent aroma of roasted almonds, sage and artichokes.
Very good with vegetable soups, on toasted bread, with round beans, with steak. |
